Cookies

miqra_theme is a first-party cookie (and a matching localStorage key) that stores light, dark, or system. It exists so the chosen theme survives a reload and so the first paint can match. It is not used to advertise.

After a live sign-in, the API sets httpOnly cookies miqra_session (access) and miqra_refresh (refresh). The web app may also set miqra_app_session as a presence flag so middleware can send you into the workspace. Those cookies are necessary to stay signed in.

In local mock mode the app may set miqra_mock_session. Mock mode is not used in production.

Paystack may set cookies when a church completes checkout on Paystack's pages. That is Paystack's notice, not ours.

Embedded maps or video on a church's own public site, if the church turned them on, follow that provider's cookie rules.

You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser. Blocking miqra_theme only means the site may forget your light/dark choice. Blocking session cookies means you cannot stay signed in.

We do not show a blocking cookie wall because we do not set marketing trackers on this site.
